Following the publication of the Government’s Green Paper on Industrial Strategy earlier this year, we’ve produced this short video focussing on the UK’s creative industries and their role within this important agenda.

The Green Paper and its consultation process is a landmark opportunity for our creative industries to understand and influence the Government’s strategy, which in turn will help to preserve and develop the foundations on which our international success in the creative industries has been built.

In the video, we take a look at why the Green Paper is important, consider some of the key pillars identified by the Green Paper to drive forward a new industrial strategy and the possibility of an early sector deal for the creative industries, and reflect on some of the industry reaction so far.
